Lucky Wok, Northampton

I went to eat at the Lucky Wok in Northampton, and I was plensantly suprised about everything. I was incredibly pleased as soon as I walked through the door. A friendly member of staff came and let us choose a table (a rare occurrence in another restaurant that I eat at every so often), and gave us a really big menu which had so many choices. We sat, and we ordered our drinks. They came 5 minutes from the time we had ordered them, a fast service. We then ordered our meal deal - £12.50 per head for freshly cooked food, eat as much as you like. The ordering system was easy to get your head round. Order, then eat your course then order again. I found this helpful, as there was so much to choose from. Our waiter didn't bother us during our meal. I was very pleased that he waited for us to usher him instead of annoying us like some waiters. Plates were cleared quickly and efficiently, and our needs were met. Payment was quick with a credit card - they had a portable machine which was brought to our table and it saved us standing at the bar for ages.

We had a really fun night out, and the food was absolutely gorgeous. I would advise to eat somewhere that cooks freshly when ordered, as it is piping hot and very tasty. Lucky Wok has exceeded all my expectations - I now continue to eat there some lunchtimes and nearly every weekend. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
