Toninos Pizzeria, Market Deeping

We've been here a few times over the years and the food is always good but not fantastic. Decided to visit for a family meal 6 of us. Food was disappointing have had much tastier meals at the Italian chains in Stamford . The thing that disappointed us the most was the £13 service charge for 6 people you should choose to leave a tip.

Dreadful. The food is tasteless, expensive and served by the surly owner. I can't believe what I am reading either people have never eaten Italian food before or they are self-written reviews. The starter was cold tomatoes on toast for £5 and the main was a tiny burnt piece of pasta with virtually no sauce for £10. the restaurant is crowded and noisy I can find little to recommend this establishment.

We have going the this restaurant for over 10 years and have never been disappointed with the food or the service,the menu has a very good selections to suit all tastes and they always have a great speicleals menu available...the food is all cooked fresh so it comes to the table nice and hot and presented lovely.. The drinks and wine menu has a lovely selection to complement the food. The surroundings are very nice,clean and cosy.. The staff are always very helpful and very welcoming.. The owners always very helpful and friendly too. It's always a pleasure to go there...

We are new to the area and tried this restaurant through recommendations via my new work place.

After moving from Cambridge which has an ample amount of restaurants, what a real treat to find this gem of a place which we have now eaten at three times in a month of being here.

Delicious food cooked by an Italian team who you can watch through an open area and waiting staff who are simply enjoying their roles so much, they go out of their way to make sure you are happy.

This restaurant also had a review via the Evening Telegraph last week, 9/10 ! They deserve it. Very nice!

Dined at Toninos again last night...as usual the food was delicious and the service impeccable. My husband and I enjoy eating out and have tried many restaurants, but have to say Toninos is always the one that we go back to. Always a pleasure to eat there, such a lovely atmosphere with friendly welcoming staff, and management who will always go that little bit further to make your evening special. Definitely our favourite restaurant by far.

Always excellent customer service and waitresses always have a smile! Feel very looked after when we have eaten there and happy to change their dishes according to our taste, lovely food and well presented, always such a pleasure to dine there, managers always have a smile on their face and are very attentive to each customer, lovely and friendly atmosphere, thank you for a wonderful evening!

If I ran a restaurant I would be really pleased to see 6 or 8 people come in not smack a 10% service charge on for tables of six or more. Don't they like being busy. We spent well over £200 in there so promptly got a £25 service charge. We didn't even get offered a complimentary drink, and when we mentioned it the owner was really rude and his wife quickly vanished. Having said all that the young female waitress who served us was really nice. As young can imagine we won't be returning and will spread the word.

As one of the previous comments mentioned, we have been going to Tornino's for over 15 years and the welcome you get upon arrival leaves alot to be desired. The manageress is none other than RUDE. Walks around most of the time with her nose in the air, no acknowledgement that you are a returning customer and that you are likely to be spending your hard earned cash in there!

The food is acceptable, nothing special.Be prepared for a 10% service charge for 6 or more people.

Definately will not be going there again!

Gosh, what a delightful evening.

We recently moved to the area and have heard so many of our new neighbours and new acquaintances at work rave about this place.......so we tried it for the first time tonight.

Very warm welcome by the manager and waiting staff, divine food and excellent service, no wonder it was highly recommended.
