Internet Pictures Not Like The Real Thing. Room V
Internet pictures not like the real thing. Room very small, tiny window and only bedside lamps, so very dark. Bathroom sink so small that you can only put water in kettle via a glass!! Evening meal good but had to wait (after booking) 30 mins to be seated/served. Their guest real ale was off so limited to a lesser pint. Breakfast was for eight o'clock but they had problems with oven so finally served at eight thirty and unfortunately saw more of the plate than the full english on offer (internet pics!). Good points, the staff were very pleasant especially a young women called Lisa (excellent) and the bed very comfortable. Truthfully, for seventy pounds a night we would rather stay at a travel lodge with a little chef breakfast. Sorry but true.......

I Really Enjoyed Eating Here. The Devil Chicken Li
I really enjoyed eating here. The devil chicken liver starter was surprisingly good. Excellent gravy which wasn't overpowering, tender chicken liver on a hunk of bread that tasted of the meat. Generous portion sizes for mains with good chunky pieces of meat. We had a light and creamy creme brulee and nice smooth coffee. The restaurant can seem a little expensive as our bill came to £51 for two including soft drinks, but there is a more reasonably priced bar menu and the choices in there looked interesting too.
