Last Day Of Raj, Bury St. Edmunds

We were so very looking forward to eating at the 'Last day of Raj' restaurant in Bury St Edmunds, as we were reading lots of good reviews online. The food was luke-warm, not spicy at all, watered-down and had a very strange twangy taste to all the dishes we ate. So very disappointed! It left us with indigestion all night long and we would strongly discourage any one to visit this establishment.

If there were minus points we'd give them!!

Ordered the indian at 6.45 at the latest and ordered it so it got here at half 8 as we were going to the pub in the village for a couple of drinks. When i ordered it said delivery will be 8.40, at 9.10 it still hadnt turned up so i got my mum to ring and they said they had came but nobody was in which was a lie as we had been there from 8.25 so now im peed off as havent eaten all day and due to health problems this is really going to mess me up as have no transport, nothing in the village and nothing in the freezer, This has annoyed me as somebody told me that the food was really nice here so i thought i would give it a try, but im not gonna bother they can get stuffed !!

Nice Restaurant friendly serve excilent food specialy biryani, chi tikka,Jalfrizie wow mouth watering.

Food was terrible. Service was terrible. Loud telephone kept ringing and deafening my table. I would never eat there again.

food is excilent from other,wider dining area,surrounding excilent.perfect cooking as a real taste.

With fantastic service, and a friendly atmosphere, this is by far my favourite restaurant in Bury St Edmunds.

Last Day of Raj - First time here, the food was on par with others in the area although the service was slow.

Watch you don't get put off by the loud telephone when it rings.
