The Great Wall - Southend on Sea

I've visited here several times now and the food has always been to a good standard (pork dishes particularly good). A very cosy place, the staff are attentive without being intrusive and the owner in particular is friendly and welcoming. A good sign is that it seems to do a brisk trade on all nights of the week, something for which many restaurants would be grateful. I also like the free prawn crackers that are instantly brought to the table upon arrival...something that The Gold Coast next door charges £3 for!
