nice garden poor food waited nearly an hour to be served over cooked and hardly warm food . would visit for a drink but would not eat there again .

At The Generals Arms in Chelmsford we found the staff pleasant, the meal came out within minutes of ordering which was actually too fast. Overall the food was poor and felt to me to be a bit overpriced.
This pub used to be very good and I wonder if it may have changed hands, though I'll never go back.
