Poppies Has A Nice Quiet Atmosphere With Plenty Of
Poppies has a nice quiet atmosphere with plenty of space, a very informal restaurant and clientele.
Very good value for money, they do a midweek menu (Tue - Thur) offering a selection from £8:45
Very friendly people who will do anything to make your visit welcome, I have eaten there a few times and have enjoyed it every time, i can reccommend the pork and the beef wellington, also had a Sunday lunch there(around £8:50), better than the local pub's Sunday lunches, and in a beautiful part of Essex, a short walk to the famous 'duck pond', which reminds me the Duck pat is fantastic for starters.
