Fifty One, Ingatestone

Fifty One tries to pass itself off as a good quality restaurant, but the food is presented in a 'mock modern gourmet' style, but the quality is third rate, and if you look carefully at the restaurant it is dirty and unkempt. The wine tasting evenings are a joke, unless you like your wine in screw top bottles and mass produced, and served by someone who can just about tell the difference between red and white but has absolutely no knowledge about wine.
