Good Points Are The Food And Service At Dahnshirre
Good points are the food and service at Dahnshirree. Not going to win any interior design awards, but good food at reasonable prices. Everyone in there seemed to be enjoying themselves. Bad point the sauna style bar.

The Dahnshiree Restaurant In Brentwood Was Recomme
The Dahnshiree restaurant in Brentwood was recommended to me by a friend as the best Indian restaurant he has eaten in. He wasn't wrong. Tucked away just off the High Street, this restaurant is a little gem.
From the moment that you enter you realise that you are in an Indian restaurant with a difference. A light modern feel, with contemporary white, square crockery, and white linen napkins, adds to the general ambiance of quality.
In fact, the Dahnshiree is also a Nepalese restaurant, and it was from this menu that we chose our dishes. The owner of the restaurant is very personable and enjoys talking to customers, offering advice on dishes.
The food is presented beautifully and tastes just as good. Each ingredient can be tasted and enjoyed on it's own merit. Chicken was fresh and fell apart at the merest touch. The lamb was the same. There was plenty of food swapping going on at our table!
There is a choice of Indian beers. We went for the Ghurka, and this complemented the food nicely.
Talking to the owner, they also have guest singers on some nights (Elvis, Madonna etc.) So if you fancy a lively night with your food, it's worth finding out when they are 'on' when you book.
There is good wheelchair access from the front door into the restaurant.
All in all, a great night out, and I'll be returning with 6 more friends in the next few weeks!
