Crofters Brasserie, Witham

Good service, fantastic seasonal food, very good value overall very good evening at Crofters Brasserie.

We spent our daughters birthday there on Friday 3 Oct and the food and service was fantastic. The posh eggs on toast was stunning. Have booked to go back again for Xmas Eve and as we live 160 miles away that in its self a recommendation. I wish we had something like it in Swindon.

I am now hooked on Crofters Brasserie. The food is excellent and is served with a smile. It is a relaxed style service, which means you relax and just enjoy good food and good wine without having to feel to rigid. I would heartily recommend the Thai Fishcakes for starters - a signature dish I would suggest! They also pour over 25 different wines/champagnes by the glass! How wonderful to enjoy a glass of bubbly without having to pay for the bottle! The fixed price menu during the week is excellent value for money. I have already booked my next visit!
