The Double T Cafe, Finedon

Wheelchair access not good and food greasy. I wasn't happy when the person cooking food was eating a lollypop and taking in and out of their mouth whilst serving a breakfast. One thing i can say is that Mackworths is better value than Tasters as it is now called. Unfortunately the people further up the road (Tasters) don't listen to what customers want and charge exagerated prices. Home-cooked? My arse! I've seen Brake Brothers delivering ready cooked meals. Good food from Brakes, home-cooked NO!!!!

Dear Andy in the point of fairness , i would like to point out that Mackworths , you reviewed on just one vist also offers all the same services as the T-Cafe . The largest breakfast is six pounds but they are always willing if you'd like to make your own up . Both the cafe and car park is large so even when very busy at weekends you will always find room . I've always found the staff to be friendly and happy to help .They have disabled access and toilets , and as one of the staff mothers is wheelchair bound very understanding . their menu is varied and specials change on a daily basis . we tried the T cafe and found that it was good , shame now it shut again .
