Cafe del Sol, Cutty Sark

We go to Cutty Sark a lot to dine, there are plenty of restaurants and bars and the atmosphere in the are is really nice. Last weekend we went to Cafe del Sol, a mexican restaurant in Cutty Sark. It was the first time I visit this place. In a nutshell the food is brilliant, really delicious and comes in big portions, but the service is beyond appalling. Our friends had waited for us for about 20 min and they said during that time they had been asked many times when are their friends coming as if they don't come they should be moved to a table for two. When we arrived we were rushed to order and when our meals arrived, and five minutes after that, on every five minutes, someone from the waiters was at our table to ask if we are finished. Not very polite as it is not a fast food restaurant and you expect to sit and enjoy your food. It was an hour after we had sat on our table when we got really upset for being asked so many times if we are finished we decided to ask for the bill and just leave. When the bill came the waiter told us to pay and get up quickly as there are many customers waiting to be seated. I can't really recommend this place as this attitude kind of spoiled our night. The only thing we really enjoyed was the food. It was really delicious.
