Amazing food and friendly staff. They got us seated quickly and was nothing but hospitable for the entire visit. One of the staff members carved our meat and had a chat with us which continued the welcomed feeling we began with. And our server was amazing and attentive throughout the entire visit

It was impressively Covid safe, fabulous friendly staff, special mention to the man who went over and above: a wonderful meal at a very reasonable price, and family-friendly.

On our visit we had not booked the Mansger found us a table introduced our waitress ordered our drinks went to the carvery the chefs served the food asked us what we would like returned to the table where the drinks and cutlery were on the table waiting after a while the waitress asked us if everything was okay . The food was hot there was nothing that could be improved nice furnishings good food freindly staff grea prices .

We went to Toby Carvery in Billinge and it was terrible. The place was filthy, I thought all places were supposed to be extra clean because of Covid!! Not Toby, dirty tables and chairs and nothing cleaned after use. We only stayed for a drink because I didn't want to eat. Not a nice experience and will NOT be going back. How much does it cost to be clean, come on, shape yourself!!!!! It might be a 1 star rating but you can still keep the place spotless.

Absolutely the worst experience we've ever had, visited many of these outlets, this is by far the worse.

Definitely to be avoided by customers that expect first class service and food, SADLY BOTH MISSING HERE.

We assume they are individually managed, hence the huge difference at Morecambe, others seem superb on each visit and revisiting, experience is guaranteed to be the same, excellent.

Great shame Morecambe cannot join in efforts to keep the reputation alive.

being a devotee of crown carvery's, we normally do not go elsewhere.

whilst visiting Lytham st annes we used a crown carvery for convenience and found it to be superb. the carvery was varied and plentiful,value for money at £5.99 per adult. staff were polite and pleasant and the premises couldn't be faulted.

we decided to visit the Toby Carvery Watergate Toll.the carvery was faultless,as were the staff and premises.

a lovely fulfilling experience which we intend to visit on a regular basis.

I've eaten in many, many Toby carverys from Edinburgh to Exeter as I travel Britain alot. I have to say that with the , very odd, exception I have always found the staff, buildings and food to be of the highest quality.. The value for money is excellent also. Monday to Saturday is the best value at £5.99 for an all you can eat. I defy anyone to find better food at a better price.

Very tasty roast dinner lovely staff and if you sign up at their site you get coupons to eat cheaper. We go to Whitwebbs in Enfield it has great food and a great setting and the desserts are really scrummy. Last time we had to wait a while which was a bit of a pain, although it was worth the wait a 2 course dinner for £6-50 a head is pretty good value in my books

I have visited 3 Toby Carvery's (Warrington, Widnes, and Lowton) and the location hasn't affected how appalling the food and service is. The meat is stone cold, and served as wafer thin slices... The peas are like bullets...the carrots are like mush because they have been over boiled... The yorkshite pudding is the only way to describe that monstrosity served... The stuffing was like a freezing cold ball of god knows what... And not to mention the brown water they call gravy. This is the last time i'm putting myself through this! There was even flies in the widnes restaurant which meant I had to leave without eating! As for the service, I have never been served by such incompetent people in all my life!! The restaurants are grubby, with marks on the carpet and seats, I have never felt so dirty! On my way out I felt like I had to wipe my feet and rush home for a shower!
