What A Carry On
I explained i was alergic to onion twice but I had to send my dinner back 3 times as each time it came back with onion in it. Now i understand special dinners can cause mistakes but 3 times! I gave up and went to the cafe further in town

A Very Relaxing Bar Next To The River Wensum, Whic
A very relaxing bar next to the river Wensum, which is reasonably quiet during the day and very early evenings, me and my husband visit there during that time of day. On Tuesdays, there is a steak club, Thursdays have curry club and the Sunday club is roast dinners. We are very impressed with the curry and steak clubs where there is plenty of choice on the menu's plus with these meals and the quality is pretty good, you get a free drink, but to be honest I woulden't recommend the roast dinners at Sunday club because the vegetables are too dry and over cooked plus the meat is too dry. There are also other meal deals on the main menu where you can buy two meals for the price of one which are of reasonable quality, you can also order snacks such as Nachos, baguettes/sandwiches etc, plus in the mornings there is breakfast club if you fancy a full English. The only downside to this place is that it shows football and whenever the football is on, the place just gets too crowded which is a nightmare when your'e trying to get served.

I Have Just Returned From A Day Out In Portsmouth,
I have just returned from a day out in Portsmouth, over an hour and a half of which was wasted in the Lloyds bar. After a long wait at the bar to be served, I was told that there was no roast beef left, this was at 2.30 pm on a Sunday, and they are supposed to serve food all day and night. After returning to the bar, I ordered 1 mixed grill and one roast chicken. At 4.00 pm a girl came up to our table to inform us that the mixed grill was ready, but they had run out of roast chicken. I asked why it had taken them over an hour to come and tell us that, but she didn't know why. She asked if we still wanted the mixed grill, but we did not want to have another hour's wait for a second meal. We got our money refunded and left without eating anything!
What is the mentality of the people to assume that people have unlimited time to spend just waiting for a cheap meal? The funny thing about this incident is that the girl who informed us of the problem used to work in the Port Solent Lloyds bar, and that used to be awful (haven't been back there since), and she then went to the Chichester one and that was also very slow - now very much improved? Could she be the problem or is the Trafalgar just one of these outlets that will never improve?
The place was not at all busy, so I dread to think how they would cope if they ever were busy.
