Itsu

I have tried various places in Canary wharf to eat lunch and generally find the area a little lacking in choice and quality by about 1.45pm as most people have already had lunch by this time so I guess a lot of places feel they don't need to make an effort and I often find a lot of places have run out of things and even if you ask they aren't prepared to make any more for you. With Itsu this is never the case! The one in Jubilee Place is quite small but the seating area is comfortable, clean and with a lovely jovial atmosphere. Often the music playing adds to this enjoyable experience, especially if it is blocking out the dreadful sounds emanating from the chicken chain next door. The sushi is always fresh and well made and I feel it is quite reasonably priced when you compare it with some of the leading supermarket chains who offer nothing in comparison quality wise for only a pound or so less. I definitely recommend Itsu 100%! Also if you have slightly more time, then check out the conveyor belt Itsu restaurant upstairs in Cabot Place - same amazing quality and atmosphere, just be prepared to get carried away and eat lots!
