After All Those Years And Fair Rates Still Good. T

After all those years and fair rates still good. The Rings of Onion are the bomb. Its chicken nuggets are better but cheaper than McDs. The Whopper fills. Coupons are fantastic. I love when they've got hotdogs.

Badly Managed - Belsize Park

This place it totally disorganised and run badly!

After calling a week ahead to book a table for 8 people outside as I knew it would be hot, we arrived on the evening to be told that the table that was set up and reserved outside (place setting for 10) was not our table and that we had been shafted and moved to an indoor table. Absolutely pathetic.

I told them that I was not going to be put inside as my booking was confirmed for outside.

Also I called them an hour before to put the order through so we could eat and leave quickly. the lady repeated the order twice to which I confirmed.

When we arrived she said she had not put the order through in case she got it wrong and then had to repeat it to my for a third time. Unbelievable!!

This place could do with some people that actually know what they're doing!

Reasonable Food, Good Value With Offers

The food is of a good quality, the burgers tasty and venues reasonable. The standard menu is pricey, but if you take advantage of their saver menus: for example the lunch menu - a hamburger and fries is £5.95 which is a good quality meal compared to other fast food offerings. There are also promos around which are definitely worth taking advantage of.

Decent Food, Average Price

The burgers they do are tasty, not the best I've had but definitely a lot better than McDonalds! However, it is a bit over priced I think. The experience on the whole is lacking a certain something, a real sense of individuality and authentic atmosphere perhaps!

I would go back, but I'd rather eat elsewhere given the choice.

Wowzer!

How did I live before GBK?? I honestly don't know the answer! I have never tasted a burger as good as the Satay Chicken that they serve here. Piled high on your plate with such a massive breast of chicken with the most delicious peanut sauce and some relish too...it's lush!!!

Some complain because they don't include chips in the price, however there is no way I could finish off these burgers and have enough room for chips too. They do cost a bit, but they regularly do 2-4-1 deals therefore if you split the price you are looking at £4 maximum for a burger - that's cheaper than Macci-D's!

Surprisingly Awful

An appalling meal at every level.  In fact one of the worst ever.

Burgers - cold. Chips - cold. Drinks - good. Service - Surprisingly poor. Toilets - Dirty.

We did complain to our waiter about the food.  He didn't communicate our complaint to the manager who seemed surprised when we accosted her and she stated that she'd told the staff to tell her when people complained.  On the subject of the toilets, she responded by stating that she'd told someone an hour and a half ago to look at them.

To be fair she did start to make an offer of some sort about our next visit but we stopped her as we obviously won't be returning.

We've been to GBK in Wimbledon and it was excellent so my best advice is avoid the Richmond one like the plague. It's truly dreadful.

We Went To The Gourmet Burger Kitchen In Richmond

We went to the Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Richmond and it was my first time to a GBK. I used my Taste London card to get 50% off. They currently have a World Cup themed menu in their restaurants with different burgers allocated a country so England was the simple cheese burger and the Greek burger was made of lamb. I chose to try the Babaganoush beef burger but forgot to ask for no bun (I can never finish them otherwise) which was representing Nigeria and asked for it medium rare and had an Oreo milkshake to go with it and some chips to share. Service was good and we were seen to straight away.

The burger was lovely, perfectly cooked and the Baba Ganoush was sooo good - they should make it as a dip. The Oreo milkshake was thick and very good but perhaps the size was a little on the large size (especially combined with a meaty burger).

The bill was really reasonable, for 4 of us it came to £35 with the discount so really good value. I'll be taking my card again ;)

Yum Yum Yum...! Gorment Burger Kitchen Is Fantasti

Yum yum yum...! Gorment Burger Kitchen is fantastic. The restaurants do seem a little small but then turnaround is quite quick. You will be shown to a table but have to go to the till point to make your order and you pay there and then. The food and your drinks are then delivered to your table in a short space of time. The burgers always taste great and you'll be amazed at how big they are. There is a large selection to choose from and there is also a couple of vegetarian options for those who don't eat meat. If you like burgers then you can't go wrong with Gorment Burger Kitchen. One recommnedation - if there are two of you then I would say you probably only need one portion of chips bewteen you. The burgers are pretty large so unless you have a massive appetite you might struggle to finish all your meal.

On My First Visit To Gourmet Burger Kitchen I Went

On my first visit to Gourmet Burger Kitchen I went to my local West Hampstead branch. It was a lovely sunny day so the outside eating area was also open.

We ordered a couple of burgers, chips and milkshakes from he friendly waitress. The milkshakes came first. They bring them to you in a huge cold cocktail shaker along with a glass. You get a lot of milkshake, I think over two glasses full, and you'll be pleased about it! They are delicious, maybe the best thing about the place. They're thick, tasty and just how milkshakes should be. You can tell they're made with ice-cream!

We had to wait a short while for our burgers to arrive, but the place was packed and we weren't in a rush so didn't mind. When they came we were in for a surprise! They were huge as were the side portions of chips! We realised one side of chips between us would have been more than enough, and my partner is a big guy - 6'7 with a large appetite!

The burgers were real, hand made (I think) and wonderful. They were made from quality meat, hot and in a soft bun with a salad garnish.

I couldn't finish mine, I probably managed about half and my other half didn't do much better!

The food isn't perhaps the cheapest for a simple burger joint, but I think it's worth the money and you can taste the quality throughout the meal.

I've Been Told By Friends About The Gourmet Burger

I've been told by friends about the Gourmet Burger Kitchen but I could not believe how big and tasty the burgers really are, not to mention the great service.
