Sonic Unleashed (XBox 360)

I got this game for Christmas, as my dad remembered i loved sonic when i was younger, and i still play the original game on my xbox arcade from time to time. So i popped in the disc and started the game, and half an hour later i popped it right back in the box. I was so bored by the split personality of Sonic the hedgehog/Sonic the Werehog... walking around 'talking' to people? this is not what sonic is about, sonic is about running very fast around beautifully drawn environments, and although when you are running fast it looks great, there just isnt enough of it.

The music is bland, the characters are annoying, and the graphics are substandard. sadly, i wont be following sonic any-more...

I will definitely revisit green hill zone and starlight zone from the 1990 classic, just to remind myself of what sonic used to be, before he grew up.
