Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Is One Of The Best Game

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is one of the best games of the 21st century so far on Xbox 360, if not the #1. I played Modern Warfare 2 for several months and got to around level 49, but i soon lost interest in it after having a bad spell on it. But... I played Battlefield after my dad had bought it as one of his few surprise buys from Game. And I must say... I'm not dissapointed by this game at all.

Now, I'm no expert on the previous games of Battlefield, but the campaign for Bad Company 2 is not up to scratch. To be quite frank the multiplayer is the highlight of the game, it's much more realistic than COD, in terms of not being able to land a headshot on someone with a sniper at a zillion mile range where the bullet flies straight.

The multiplayer is quite simply epic. 24 player games, between 8-12 maps and 3 different settings available: regular multiplayer, onslaught mode ( the game modes versus computer AI) and Vietnam. the game modes are : Rush, Conquest, Squad Rush, and squad deathmatch.

For £25 in Game in the UK this game is one of the best you will ever play. with some of the microsoft points you can buy, you can buy some neat upgrades... the graphics are not the best, but eventually you find it's one of those games where you don't care about the graphics, but the sheer excellence of the gameplay more than makes up for it.

With Battlefield 3 coming out soon, it may well kick Bad company 2's back side, but I think there's still going to be hundreds of thousands of players online on Bad Company 2's servers, and DICE have made a true masterpiece.

10/10 All round. watch out though... IT'S MAJORLY ADDICTIVE.

There are still a lot of issues though. Tons of spawn camping, still having people waiting on the vehicle spawns, Can't easily bring in more then 4 from a party into a game, playing the same map twice in conquest, under populated games and balance issues (though minor in the long run).

Don't get me wrong, when everything is going right in this game I love it. But many times I find myself wishing I could request a seat in a vehicle rather then watch 3 of use try and board a chopper. Running over minds when I hop in a vehicle as the base camp. Why can't I have a party of 8 come in as 2 squads of 4? I love it but I hate as well at times.

Great game! 1 player missions are great fun, i'd say even better than MW2. Sound and graphics are awesome.

Annoying gameplay feature that you can't 'go prone'.

The multiplayer is excellent, the squad style game play adds a new dimension compared to MW2. Lots of different games modes, and loads to do. You can stay wll out of the action and just snipe or get right into the think of it in a tank or helicopter.

My one multiplayer gripe would be that there's a lot of lag in the larger games, and they don't reconfigure the host to correct it often enough. It's also much slower than MW2.

Overall - Really good game, great alternative to MW2.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Was An Impulse Buy And

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was an impulse buy and so far I have no regrets!

There will be a lot of comparisons with Modern Warfare 2, but there are many subtle differences which set the two games apart.

Even the simple additions of being able to destroy buildings adds an extra dimension to the game play (think again before ducking for cover behind a creeky building!).

As with MW2, the multi-player mode is where it comes into its own. It feels a lot more like all out war than Modern Warefare 2 does - and there is more emphasis on thinking more as a team - it is all about your squad.

It has less modes than MW2 but they seem well polished and balanced.

I haven't finished the single player mode yet but I am probably enjoying it more than MW2's single player. The checkpoints can be a bit random at times, but having weapons caches placed around the level, allows you to use the weapons you prefer (and have unlocked) to complete the level in the way you want, so is not quite as linear as some shooters.

Recent BFBC2 EA server outages for 360 users was annoying as people couldn't get online but as for the game itself, I highly recommend it.

I'm A Big Fan Of Modern Warfare/ Modern Warfare 2

I'm a big fan of modern warfare/ modern warfare 2 for both it's single and multi-player, however Battlefield Bad Company 2 is superior in my opinion.

Firstly the single player is a lot more fun, the destructible environments, amazing sound production and beautiful graphics make the experience highly addictive.

The multi-player offering is a completely different experience to Modern Warfare, the environments are larger and on the whole the game-play is far more technical. The addition of vehicles is also a huge bonus.

Great game, well thought out, similar to COD 4. Great missions, love the way you can run through houses using you granade launcher. 10 out of 10 - just as good as Modern Warfare. Well enjoyed game off and on line.
