The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3)

I had a go at The Beatles: Rock Band at my friends the other weekend, they had the basic set with a "Fender" guitar, drum kit and microphone on the PS3 (you can get an extra bass guitar and up to three mics).

I've played Guitar Hero before but quickly became bored of just playing a guitar so the choice of instruments with Rock Band plus the added fun of having your friends join in was a good touch.

There are plenty of well known and loved Beatles songs to play, with our favourites being Back in the USSR, Srg Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band/Little Help from our Friends and Revolution. The only niggle I found was the drums didn't always seem very responsive and seemed to drop time with the game. Whether you can calibrate I'm not sure.

The Beatles Rock Band is a great game to play with friends. Think I might treat my friends to some extra mics so more of us can play along.
