The Kids And I Love Gran Turismo 5. For Driving Re

The kids and I love Gran Turismo 5. For driving realism it's hard to beat - stunning graphics and really good car dynamics. It would probably be easier with a steering wheel, but good range of difficulties. It's a bit short as a single player game, but then again it is a 'prologue'. Roll on the full game....

Totally Worth It's Price, Its Extremely Realistic

Totally worth it's price, its extremely realistic and gret to play. The only bad point in thw hole game is the drifting. Its makes it all very frustrating.

After Downloading The Hd Concept I Couldn't Wait T

After downloading the HD Concept I couldn't wait to get this. I wasn't disappointed straight away but soon noticed a few flaws that won't put me off getting GT5 but did have me writing a long email to Sony criticising the game and PS3 in general.

It doesn't take long to finish the game if you're good at it but I was going nuts, shouting at the TV and cursing Sony. The penalty system is ridiculous. An AI car can ram you off line and you get penalised for it. Crazy. It's the same online so I didn't do too much of that. Maybe one day PS3 might be half as good as Xbox Live but I doubt that very much. It would be nice to be able to talk to other players but that's just the way PS3 is. As a result I only get PS3 specific games. My Metal Gear 4 is getting lonely sat on it's own since I traded this in for something on Xbox

The Are Not Many Bad Points. But I Have To Say Tha

The are not many bad points. But I have to say that to complete all the events you need to repeat some events many times to buy the car you need for the next event. Many of them expensive later in the game. Don't try to raise the money by going online, as the prize money is not good. And it is better to repeat an off line event as far as I am concerned. Online was, for me another disappointment it was supposed to be one of the great new features. But has flaw. The first one you'll notice is the layout, instead of "rooms" that you can create, it uses the "event" system. Once you log in you see a list of the current events and can only stick to those, and cannot create your own custom event. And they change. So may not be able to race on a certain track for 2 weeks.

Overall this is a great game but keep in mind that if you want to have cars you'll have to work hard for them. Well recommend Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

This Game Is Phenomenal. The Graphics Are Amazing

This game is phenomenal. The graphics are amazing and there is so much detail, the handling is so realistic, the cars look and sound great too.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a brilliant game at a reasonable price, cant wait for GT5 prologue to come out, hopefully it will live up to my expectations after playing the prologue.
