Football Manager 2007 Is The Best Football Manager
Football Manager 2007 is the BEST football manager game out ever. It makes you feel like you're actually the manager, it is very very very addictive and really grabs you. Playing over the internet with friends is fun and I hear Football Manager is bringing out a new game called Football Manager Live. This is to be used over the internet with many people and you all play each other in one league, its like football manager except with people as other managers not the computer. Overall Football Manager 2007 is a quality game and so much fun, I would definately recommend to anyone, even those who don't like football. However there are a few glitches in the game. One time I was playing a match, I lost 2:1 but when I looked at my message board it said I had won. Also some players you don't transfer, who are already on the team say you have signed them recently e.g Southampton - Kevin Davis... it said I had signed him for 8M but I didn't. They're the only problems but its nothing that will ruin your game. Quality game... recommend to anyone... highly addictive.
Yeah definitely. I've gone to 2011 in a season and the transfers get higher and higher practically impossible to buy any player in the top 20. I had £120,000,000 transfers money and used about £1,000,000. I was Barnsley at the time and I made them one of the richest clubs. I don't support Barnsley. On the whole the game is great. Have you seen Football Manager Live is coming out? When it comes out we will have to join and make a clubs table in it.
I've had a few goes of this game and on each occasion had to spend something between £50-80 million to land a 'world class' player which is a bit of an annoyance if truth be told, I always start another player with the club whose player I'm after, agree a ridiculous low fee and then transfer him, if he doesn't want to join me, just fine him a few times, he'll soon catch on what's going on and transfer to your preferred club.
Its quite a simple game in my opinion, straightforward. I agree with you that the transfers budgets are pretty expensive.
It's really hard though isn't it? and the transfer fees are ridiculously inflated.

This Game Is The Latest Football Manager Game, Whi
This game is the latest Football Manager game, which has been going on for quite a while now. The latest updates for the game include,
1). Pre match team talks: These can give your players a handy boost before the match. A good idea to add to the game, but I cannot help feeling that they have made it a bit unrealistic in the process, because the usual response that you get to a team talk is that "didn't seem to be listening". But there you go, still seems to help from time to time. They have also got some handy updates on the half time and full time talks which include telling a single player that he can make the difference in a match which really boosts them from time to time.
2). Feeder clubs: To be honest, I haven't really tried out this feature much, but the clauses in it can be handy if, say a club like PSV has a good player that you want. This happened to me at Liverpool but I was able to exchange one of my older players for the younger player because of a clause in a feeder club relationship with PSV! So has the potential to be great fun.
These are the only things I can think of at a moment, the rest is mostly similar to FM06, but the new skin is a definite improvement on the old one, a lot clearer. Oh yeah, Tevez and Mascherano are at West Ham as well and all the other big transfers have taken place so that is quite good!
