Diablo 2

By far one of the best RPG's of all time. Much better than it's successor D3 which was a cash cow only.

Addicting, fun gameplay, played long into the night and never got bored of Diablo 2. I suppose for some people the fact that the game is addictive is bad, and there are hackers if you are not careful. Still a must buy!

Ok, it's an Action RPG so you're going to play the hero saving the world (if you played the first one that might give you pause as the hero of the first game is apparently the possessed villian you are pursuing across the world in this one.) OK there are times when the game of necessity devolves into a monster killing fest, thus I gave it a 9 rather than a 10. You have mild puzzles to solve (they really don't qualify as puzzles) quests to acomplish and so on. Sometimes you get ahead of your level so to speak and run into monsters that are above your level to slay without dying repeatedly, so you end up spending time killing monsters your famillar with to build levels. Despite all that this is one of the great contenders for all time best PC game. It's hard to believe but one of the more interesting parts of this game is the "magic equipment" system. There are quite literaly millions of possible combinations. it cracks me up to find some incredably powerful item that really does something almost unnecessary or is almost usless because of what it is, say a magic short sword that ups your mana, increases your armor class, gives you extra life, and does almost no damage in battle. But of course on the flip side there is always the chance of that one ultimate weapon, or armor, or boots and so on.

Evidence of how good this game is, is that we're still talking about it this long after it came out. I've literaly played this game over and over and still load it on my computers early on in their use life. It tends to be the game I (and a lot of other people) compare all action RPGs to.

Diablo 2's fun factor is very small. The game soon becomes boring because the game is repetitive. The only thing that you can do in the game is to kill monsters. This gets repetitive over time. Also, the quests available consist of only killing monsters whereas other rpgs available consist of more passive quests such as gathering items.

Diablo 2 is the best RPG to play on the PC. The original Diablo is also a contender though.

Diablo 2 has playability (if that is a word), each character has unique skills, and abilities that you can start to use almost from the off, and as the game goes on, depending on your choice of skills, your character can be different every time you build a new one. And there seems to no end of objects that, not only you can find or buy, but can create.

This is a must buy game for those that enjoy playing a game that you can get your teeth into.

Diablo 2 - The game is just really fun, you have to try it.

The game is lotsa' fun if ya' ask me, the first town is just to get you pumped for the wrest of the game. Battle through single player or multiplayer, with a free internet access to the game servers. (Must supply a internet connection for yourself...) Id give it a 8.5/10. Very addicting, untill you die. Hint if you die and cant reach your body, save the game and quit, your body will be in the town next time you play. Nice and smooth graphic of the game, nice gameplay, id recomend you get it if you have liked blizzards games.

Greatest game ever and if u can u should buy both expansion and regular because u'll get access to all the items that ever were in the game and all the levels and characters! diablo 2 is one of to best games on earth! heck thats why it made the game of the year 2 times in a row!

It's really the best rpg ever done. I have it for 1 year and have played it again and again. All the characters are cool, and the multiplayer is even greater. Superb community online and cool weapons make it the most engaging game online. The Paladin is really the coolest of them all on multiplayer with his auras who benefit a whole group.

Buy it, play it, play it play it ,enjoy it.
