I've Played This Game Many Times Since It Came Out
I've played this game many times since it came out. I played the original Baldur's Gate and looked for something like it for a long time (till this one came out). This one is even better. Take my advice and get the expantion right away load them both and start with an expantion game.
This game and Diablo 2 are sort of bookends in my ideal RPG's or favorite RPG's. I have owned this game since it came out and tried playing several characters with several varitions on team, talents, or equipment. I really strongly recommend this game.
