ARMA II

Arma 2. There's so many good points to this game, it's hard to pick just one to start off with. I'll go with my favorite part, and a lot of other's favorite part: The ability to mod. The modding ability in Arma 2 is quite extensive, with many many mods, ranging from skins, to vehicles to weapons to total conversion modifications. It's easy to say you'll never grow bored with all the modifications you can get. Another great feature is the powerful mission creator/editor. This allows you to create missions just like a pro at Bohemia Interactive, yet you can do it from your own computer! It allows you full access to all units, weapons, vehicles, and allows you to define advanced scripts to add that personal touch to your missions. And the thing that makes this simulation stand out from the rest, is the intense realism and stunningly vivid graphics. You'll feel totally immersed in rapid gunfire bursting over your head, tanks shooting 102mm shells behind you with concussive effect, and the airplanes booming in the sky. Overall, Arma is a great buy, usually priced around 20 to 30 dollars USD on Steam or in your local store. This simulation is great for your casual gamer to your hardcore FPS fan.
