Aion is an online medieval fantasy RPG, with an emphasis on Eastern myths, which received the status of being the most played in South Korea The big difference to other games of this genre is the high quality graphics presented, beyond history.

The plot of the universe of Aion is going on in the city of Atreia, a world divided by epic conflicts that destroyed the beauty and prosperity of the place. In this scenario dominated by chaos, you emerge as a hope against evil. But do not think you'll command a simple warrior or a thief, in Aion , you assume the role of a demigod known as Daeva with unimaginable powers.

In this battle, you can choose between the purity of the breed or the determination of Elyos Asmodians, and move on evolving your character, always with the goal of defeating the invaders before pacified the land and show the world that still have salvation. But you will not achieve much alone. Throughout the game, alliances are necessary to defeat powerful bosses and legions of enemies thirsting for violence. Harness the power of the union to win the game to expel the invaders from territories or castles during this period of war.

Aion: Tower of Eternity is by far one of the better online MMORPG I have play.

Graphically stunning this game has it all (almost). Although I gave it a full 5 stars I do have some downfall for it but still overall it is very impressive. The game is very linear, you pick 1 faction and does not matter what class you pick, they will all start at the same place and have same missions/quest. so re-playability will be boring for each classes if you already picked one. This game does not have new contents that will amazed you but it has some contents from over mmorpg but perfected or at least shows it better. This game is both pvp and PvE oriented however you will encounter a lot of pvp starting at level 20+ when other faction invade your side of the world. at level 25+ it gets interesting for some classes other will be very challenging, specially the assassin class, personality one of my worse leveling up class I have out of the others but get better around level 37+ and at 50 they are amazing. but below that you are heavily depended on group and killing weaker monsters to level up.

If you are familiar with GuildWars and World of Warcraft and few free to play MMORPG you will find some similarities in Aion, however you will quickly notice the fighting animation and graphic effect to be great. you can learn any profession such as armorsmithing, weaponsmithing, tailoring, alchemy, cooking, and a few other I can't remember from the top of my head.

you can master up to 2 different profession of your choice but after that you will only be good with the other professions but wont be able to master it.

Lets see; the game was developed by a korean team from NCsoft, massive grinding was the key of the game but they soften it up for the north american release and just made it into quests. There are 2 path in questing. there is a campaign quest which will develop around your character and the world around you and there is the average NPC quest which involves killing x amount of mobs (monsters), spying, infiltration, delivering items from 1 npc to another and so on. each faction as 5 main lands and the maps are massive

you can enter into foreign lands (opposing factions) and this is where pvp becomes heavy you will fight mobs and often other players from the opposing faction, kind of like Alliance vs Horde on World of Warcraft. You earn points for killing opposing faction and turn it in for special items and other "special treatments".

The game is engaging and can be difficult for people that prefer to solo everything, there are a lot of places where you can solo but there will be quest and faction missions which will put you in need of help.

The game isn't full developed to be reviewed properly however taking a look at the game, and viewing further development of the game, I'll say this is one MMORPG that is here to stay.
