Well, If You've Already Read The Book And Then Saw
Well, If you've already read the book and then saw the movie (sorry) you're probably used to disappointment.
Why is it so hard to follow up a movie/book with a decent game.
This is my point, this is supposed to be a problem solving game like Myst etal. However, it falls way short of this mark.
In my opinion this game looks and feels like it was put together on a weekend, by teenagers with a budget of $123.00.
Poor graphics, poor sound, goofy voice talent shoopy cut-rate scenes and all together too difficult problem solving games.
There is now way to beat The Da Vinci Code without cheating.
I would surmise that only people that have seen the movie/read the book would buy this game, thinking that it would be fun.
It is not, most time is spent by the player prompting dialogue and watching cut scenes.
Many levels and materials in this game do not coincide with the move/book at all and are just there to take up time and justify a $19.99 video game.
The only other time I remember playing a game this boring was when I was a young lad and we had the Nintendo game "bible adventures"
This game is nothing like the book or the movie. Save your money and rent the movie again, better yet-go get the book from the library FOR FREE.
Completely pointless in my opinion.
I found this review helpful because... it saved me from ever thinking it might be fun to try out this game since I liked the book so much.
