New Super Mario Bros Is A Fantastic Ds Game. I Hav
New Super Mario Bros is a fantastic DS game. I have completed all the worlds, and I am now going back to collect all the star coins. It is my favourite DS game I have got, and I always play on it. There are eight different worlds and you have to complete lots of different levels. There are two or three bosses on each world and most times Bowser turns into something completely different. World 4 and World 7 are locked and you have to complete two stages via and alternate route to unlock them. Have fun playing!
It's fun and exciting, there are lots of different stages and things to figure out and there are lots of fun minigames too. You can even have a minigames battle with another New Super Mario Brothers owner. There is also a Mario vs Luigi game where you complete stages against someone else, which is wireless play.
The only really bad point is that the first three levels are super-easy and also I think there should be a boss on every stage- that would make it hard!

Supermario Bros Is Really Exelent With Its Music A
Supermario bros is really exelent with its music and creatures.
I think its really set up well and the design of the levels and monsters is astonishing.
I like the fact that you have to find a secret way to world 4 and 7.
Also i think it was good idea to have different worlds and levels instead of one big long level.
Having a creature level at the end of the good graphiced castles
I thought was exelant!
I think the people who made it must of had a HUGE imagination!

Its good because on some levels they quite scary like the sea monster and you can make MARIO FLY.On some levels you carnt think how you can get the stars thats why I write this down
But even though some of the levels are hard and some are easy thats what makes a overall game. However I prepher that so kind of forget the bad comment well infact dont bt id still give it a ten!

Mario Got His First Game All The Way Back In 1983
Mario got his first game all the way back in 1983 and since then the format hasn't changed. From then on Nintendo has tried extremely hard to keep the games alive and inventive.
They've done a good job of that as well. Despite each level being basically the same premise, a left to right adventure, every single one seems individual, quite an achievement considering there are over 80 levels.
The many mini-games will keep you occupied for a long time. Some of the mini-games you will like so much you may find yourself playing them over and over again just to beat your own highscore. I know I did. There are, in total 18 mini-games split into 4 categories. You may find yourself better at the puzzles than the action games. It's nice to see Nintendo catering for gamers with different tastes.
The multi-player modes are brilliant. All you have to do is sit next to someone else with a DS and you're off. In multiplayer 2 players, as Mario and Luigi battle it out to gain as many star coins as possible. These stars can be stolen from the other player also, keeping the game alive and competitive.
The wide variety of colour is truly amazing. Despite being 2D it is still one of the best looking games on the system. How Mario looks has really evolved over these 20 years and now he's surely reached his pinnacle. Everything is so vivid and colourful. The sky, the grass the clouds. It's all done with a beauty that could put the Sistine Chapel to shame. But maybe that's just my opinion.
However, once you've completed the main story all you have to do is find all the star coins. It isn't apparent if there is a reward for this or not, but for some reason it feels like it needs to be done. You will bore yourself to near death looking for these. There are 3 in each level, tucked away of the main road. There are over 160 to find in the game and it will take you a long, long time.
After a while at the mini-games it becomes evident that many are simply the same in disguise. This is quite the let down. When you first hear about the number of mini games it really lifts your hopes up, at least it did in my case. After playing two mini-games basically the same it's quite depressing.
I think it's terrible that you aren't allowed to save at any point you want. Having to work to the next castle or tower isn't really that fun when all you want is to have a break and sit down. It really detracts from the point of the game, a light-hearted side-scrolling platformer.
In conclusion, I would definatly recommend this game, but anyone who says it's perfect is quite simply mental!
Mario is a great franchise, and I agree with this review 100%. Great stuff!

If You Are Looking For A Fun But Not Hard Game The
If you are looking for a fun but not hard game then New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS could be the game for you but If you already have Super Mario 64 on the DS I wouldn't recommend it. You do have to unlock 2 worlds which kind of stinks but if you plan on buying a DS lite this game is almost a must have and as far as your money goes it's worth it.
Whoever reviewed this game is ill informed. New Super Mario Bros is perfect. The first levels are easy and it gets exponentially more difficult as you progress through the game. The game asks you to save after every tower (middle of the level) and Castle (end of the level). You can also save at several areas around the worlds which each require you to spend 5 gold star coins. You can find 3 gold star coins in each board and there are at least 2 hidden levels on each level. To play through every board in this game seems like it would take a long time but there are warp cannons which are also hidden in various levels. I made it to level 8 after only two partial levels. It allows you to go back to any level you have already visited then forward to the level you just left. There are a few places where you can do the old 100 free men trick. It wont go above 99 so you wont get "Game Over" of you die after you get greedy.
