Meg Is A Rebellious Teenager Who Does All She Can
Meg is a rebellious teenager who does all she can to defy authority, whether it's dying her hair blue, cutting class or going places she shouldn't. When she is caught on a forbidden railway bridge she ends up serving her punishment with the very policeman who caught her... spending her spring break with him on his night shift.
To make matters worse, Johnafter as she calls him, is only two years older than her and a former classmate. He despises her for her childish ways and she can't stand his penchant for the rules, but they both have their reasons for what they do and they have more in common than they think.
I loved Going too far as Jennifer Echols completely captures the essence of the teenage spirit as well as appealing to our inner feelings and thoughts. You felt Johns pain and fell in love with him right along with meg. although it is a relatively short read, around 250 pages, this emotional rollercoaster has enough action that it seems much longer.
