The Book "multiple Choice" By Janet Tashjian Is A
The book "Multiple Choice" by Janet Tashjian is a clever story of a girl facing the choices we all must at some point. The story begins with Monica Devon, wonderful student, doting daughter, and an overly obsessive teenager. As her nit picky ways make life more and more stressful she looks for a way to break free. With no one to turn to she finds 'multiple choice' a game that makes all the decisions for her. No matter how bad they may be.
The witty humor that Tashjian adds gives the story a personality of its own and makes it a page tuner from start to finish. What it lacks in detail it makes up for in originality.
The voice of Monica Devon reaches out to all imperfect teenagers, no matter what imperfections plague them, and reminds them that they are in control and can be as great as they could ever want to be. The characters accompanying Monica are relatable and believeable. Each is given a personality with depth, not just the main characters.
The only complaint I have is about the length. I felt that the story could have been better if it had added or lengthened parts. But not so much that it dragged on forever. Just enough so you felt satisfied at the end, which I didn't feel. It was almost as if something was missing from it.
All in all this was a great book that should be found in any library or bookcase. It has an emotional quality that I felt I connected with. And above all it was truly inspiring.
