About 25 Classmates Including Myself Read Gary Sot
About 25 classmates including myself read Gary Soto, Buried Onions and none of us enjoyed it. It's an easy to read book and you learn alot about the ghetto culture. The story line was terrible, aits repeated itself alot throughout the story and lacked creativity.

Buried Onions, By Gary Soto, Charts The Luckless L
Buried Onions, by Gary Soto, charts the luckless life of a nineteen-year-old Chicago lad who, despite continuous efforts to improve his life, continually finds himself dragged back into the gutter. This is a triumphant piece of work that balances a serious plot theme with an insightful and humorous narrative. Give it a try, I think you'll like it!
this is a great book. i love Gary Soto's other book that intertwines into this one (The Afterlife) the story took place in Fresno, NOT CHICAGO!!!! as a young poet, i understood the end and it was meaningful, but i still wonder what happens to eddie. i love Soto's books, they are amazing. my class read it, but i was so into it, i finished it early. i can relate to this book being a high school student. 5 STARS!!!!
