John Brown, Return to Oz

John Brown, Return to Oz is a wonderful read. I learned so much about Australia past & present, due in no small measure to the obvious research that had gone into this work. Wonderful perspective on modern-day Australia. This writer has a natural charm that carries you almost as a fellow passenger. Highly readable. I would have liked more cities to be covered, but then I suppose, the book would have been 500 pages long and may have lost some of its obvious sharpness

Great read, perfect for a winter's day or better still the beach.
