This Book Got Benjamin Netanyahu Elected As Prime

This book got Benjamin Netanyahu elected as Prime Minister the second time. In August 2005 he was floundering, stepped back from his political ambitions to write this book, then came back to win leadership in Likud a few days before the official publication date.

The hardliners know, through "Samson Blinded," that Netanyahu is taking the old Roman approach: you either become absorbed into our economy peacefully or face our brutality until you are driven to the frontiers. There is confidence now that Netanyahu will continue with the Zionist mission to restore "the Kingdom of David" - and all that implies - by the "unwritten" target date, the centennial of 2048.

Samson Blinded: A Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict

Veteran Israeli politician renounces ideological hubris, and contends that only rational means can win the war on terror. Shoher laughs at Jewish and Muslim myths and preconceptions, such as historical right to the land. The author attacks everyone left and right on the political spectrum, and blames Israeli vacillation for the prolonged suffering of Palestinians.
