Rhonda Byrne, The Secret

In my opinion Rhonda Byrne's The Secret is a mere selp help-feel good book to help low self esteem, character building, depression etc for lower end spectrum intelligence. Ultimately this is delusional, mysticism drivel which has no proofs, evidence, sources to back up any claim. Science has got nothing to do with this as it claims. Theres is much to be fascinated about in this life. This does far from tell you a 'secret'. Materialism is a weakness of humans and doesn't give true consistent happiness. This book actively promotes thinking of material things promising you them. You simply cannot wish to have a necklace and.......a gold necklace has appears! I am beyond myself trying to understand how and why this book and dvd is published and popular. There are real things that can give you genuine happiness in life. I always told myself 'love the things you hate and hate the things you love', you don't get everything you want in life, but you can still choose the best things that matter. This is a good conditioning for your mind, everything you get is a bonus, and a conclusion of being consistent in happiness, instead of hoping a ferrari will appear outside your home from a thought alone which will lead you to be letdown more in the end, when you finally realize this book and writer are completely irrelevant to reality.
