Amazing book, I've read it many times. Antony De Mello speaks with a very high level of clarity. It's a pity some christians are offended by it but that's just because they dont understand it. This is what Jesus meant and he was misinterpreted.

This is wonderful self-help/heal/wake up book. If someone can really understand this book, they will be free of anger, disappointments, or frustration. I recommend this book to everybody no matter the age or profession.

Best book for someone, not only Christian, but also Muslim, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists,....

Anthony De Mello, Awareness - When I first read this book, I loved it.

I thought it was the best thing ever written. Afterwards I started reading the Bible, and most of the principles I came across were in remarkable contradiction with DeMellos ideas.

The more I read, the more confused I was with De Mello's writings, until to the point I had to read it again.

Conclusion: A. DeM ello may have been a priest, but his mind was in the deceit of this world.

This man, no matter how wise he is in his wisdom, has nothing to do with the preaching the true word of God. He is one of those false teachers Paul warns us about in almost all of his letters.

I wouldn't recommend this book anymore even to my worst enemy.
