Tom Holland, Rubicon: The Triumph And Tragedy Of T

Tom Holland, Rubicon: The Triumph and Tragedy of the Roman Republic - A well-written narrative, covering quite a bigger chunk of Roman History than the title suggests, incorporating Sulla's Dictatorship, Pompey, and Caesar's early life, that there is known in Caesar's case. There is also the inclusion of the Ancient Romans' ethic, which more than explains how things happened the way they did. Well worth the money I paid for it.

Bad points? Well the ONLY thing I can think of is the way it seemed to go backwards and forwards in some parts of the text, which got a little disorientating at times. But still a good bit of narrative history... Yay Tom Holland!!!
