Edward Vi England's Boy King Is A Delightful Editi
Edward VI England's Boy King is a delightful edition of young King Edward VI's journal or diary. It covers the period from his coronation to just before his death in 1553. In the 1550s there are almost daily entries which make for fascinating reading on Tudor England, European affairs and court gossip.
Edward likes jousts, tournaments, military matters, hunting and orders of chivalry. A bit like his father in many respects he was quite different in matters of religion. Here you can read about Edward's dispute with his sister Mary Tudor.
All in all, well produced, interesting and a really valuable addition to books on the Tudors.
