Jake Redman born and breed to this harsh country, lived life with the simple things a horse,bedroll,water canteen and his trusty two shooter sitting on his hip. Sarah, with her polished up bringing, had a determined and stubborn nature. Jake, the bounty hunter, had Indian blood running though his veins. Can two people with different breeding come together as partners in a mine and for life with the interference of others?

This romantic western is written in such a descriptive way you feel, it live it, you can nearly breathe in the atmosphere of each drama of Sarah ' s life. Lawless is a book that you can't put down, you will find yourself making white sauce with one hand.

Very good plot because it gives enough detail for you to picture it but vague enough for you to use your imagination. A thrilling read filled with mystery, romance, intrigue , and adventure. Very gory in certain scenes though :-s. It is a very good read and i would recommend it to anyone who loves romance and adventure.

Lawless was one of the best romance novels I've read. It was beautifully written, Nora Roberts has done a fine job at describing the characters.
