In New Orleans, Psychic Lucy Ryan has recently had erotic dreams starring her and a hunk making love. However, her latest dream turns into a nightmare when she watches someone being killed. Lucy races to the crime scene that she envisioned, but is too late to stop a homicide. Worse, the killers are there and begin chasing after Lucy as a witness who can eyeball them.

In a nearby swamp, private investigator Justin Guidry helps Lucy escape her stalkers, but she faints when she realizes he is the star of her nocturnal fantasies. As he tries to keep her safe, Lucy dreams that her fantasy turned real soul mate is shot protecting her and she will do anything, including giving him up, to keep him from harm. Meanwhile, Justin has dreams of sharing his boudoir forever with his "Lucille", not knowing she knows every inch of his skin although they have not shared a bed yet.

Fans of paranormal, romantic suspense will take immense pleasure in this fine contemporary tale. The storyline contains two solid protagonists, although Lucy is the more interesting person with her gift, which has some of the most exotic dreams this side of Ms. Jones (the devil and not Bridget). Though some readers will say precognition pulls the storyline, others will insist happenstance occurs too often, hurting the believability of what is an intriguing story depending on your ESP quotient.
