Serena Trent And Her Ten Years Old Daughter Lacey
Serena Trent and her ten years old daughter Lacey move from California to Connecticut following a nasty divorce. Serena moves in with her older spinster sister Sarah. Although financially strapped, Serena keeps up Lacey's riding lessons at the farm owned by divorcee Logan Murphy. His ex wife died in a car crash that left his twelve year old daughter Paige angry and trapped in a wheelchair though her doctor says she can walk.
Paige's rage has frightened off several nannies and has rejected the father she occasionally saw before the accident. Desperate, he offers Serena a job as the nanny, which she accepts over the objection of her sister. As the adults fall in love and with the help of the two female Trents, he begins to make inroads with his daughter. However, Logan conceals one key fact from the three women he loves; a truth that could end his relationships with each of them if revealed.
The key that freshens up this second chance at love romance is each adult is a single parent with issues. Serena feels terrible that she has little to offer Lacey while Logan is clueless re Paige who he rarely saw. With a secondary romance adding depth, fans will relish this fine contemporary while wondering whether Logan will reveal the secret that disturbs him or continue to conceal it and pray none of the three women he loves will ever learn the truth.
