Adding to her doubts is her meeting television producer Jonathan, who brings passion outside the boob tube into her life especially during a weekend romp in the Hamptons. Daphne decides Jonathan is the man as he can get her away from the small screen for more than a minute or two.

YOU COULD DO BETTER is fine lighthearted romantic romp that is fun to follow though Daphne is shallower than George in Seinfeld. The story line is filled with amusing asides and entertaining TV trivia footnotes interwoven into the plot. Fans of a blithe pleasant tale will enjoy this light summer read.
