I Came By This Book By Accident When I Was Looking
I came by this book by accident when I was looking for records in a music store on holiday in LA. I was struck by the crazy artwork and then I started reading it - this book is wild, bad and unpredictable jumping from action to satire and poetry all in a flash . The writer uses the most unusual play on words it's utterly unique . As a student of English Lit at one of the best universites in the world I have to say this should be on every core syllabus it's a huge discovery of post modern fiction unlike anything I have read before and stands with the greatest of all time . Camus, Gide, and Kerouac I think we have found the voice of the future . Now you can put away all your "Twilight" novels and prepare for a literary takeover this author is breaking new ground with her snappy satire and in your face wit read it and feel alive ...................
I found this review very helpful because...it told me what the book was about and was well written . It also made me aware of what the book was not about :)

This book was cool and hip but really funny too. About two drug dealers who want to turn legit' and then end up in a hysterical crime spree that reveals all the maddness of metro life . It's brilliantly witty and makes you confront your own prejudices and the way you operate in modern society.
Slick and stylised I loved it !

This novel is based on real life characters and the destructive energies of drink and drugs . I admired it for its ambitious , intellectual and playful sketches of city life . Viola's figures , have their own fantastic substance and the Dickensian regalement of their trials and tribulations contribute to the humour , sex and violence of this story . At the core a tale of debauchery , disintergration and a divided London .

Absolutely brilliant!

I read this book it was so cool I could not put it down. It was amazing, funny and very entertaining from start to finish. I especially loved the eccentric characters and Richard the lawyer I could almost say I've met him. You get embroiled and wrapped up in the bizarre drug infested city full of greed and shady deals. I don't want to spoil it for everyone, but if you love being out in the scene you have got to read this book, it's everyone you know! Absolutely brilliantly written!!!! Miss Viola when's your next book out? I want it!

I was given this book by an "ex" who thought I reminded her of one of the characters in it I won't say which one ! The book is blinding and if you're switched on about London and even if you're not you soon will be with this book. I've been to some of the places described in it and hooked up with some of the girls described in it . Takes the mick out of toffs and tarts I love it ! I'm definitely making this a stocking filler for some of my mates they'll enjoy it and it's not a bad price either ! Sorted .

A Slanging Banging Trail Of Absinthe And Anarchy A
A slanging banging trail of absinthe and anarchy as bullets fracture skylines and West End girls get wasted on coke and easy money. While bad boys with "Florida tans and shiny suits" crawl the bars looking for action. This novel tells it like it is dishing the dirt on the druggy success of an urban crime business. Jammed with cool phrases and street talk the writer brtually satirises the contempoary social scene and the politics of everyday living.
I found this review very helpful because it tells me what the book is about and offers me an insight into the story .
