Nikita Lalwani, Gifted

I liked it. This book really takes to the places she talks about what else do you need as a reader if author can take you to different places through her language.

Gifted is the touching story of Rumi - a child maths prodigy, and her family. The story telling by Nikita Lalwani is very real and fuller than life. She is a brilliant writer as the story is told in a poetic way but with humour, emotion, and depth. Compared with writers like Kiran Desai or Jumpa Lahiri who seem to lack the comic aspects of life in their books, Lalwani really stands out.

A must read for everyone.
