This Book Tells The Tale Of A Regular Family & A P

This book tells the tale of a regular family & a period in their lives. It focusses on George in particular. George is a middle-aged man & is having a bit of a nervous breakdown. His daughter is getting married to someone of whom he does not approve; his son is gay & his wife is having an affair with someone he used to work with. But despite all this hoo-haa, they are all such ordinary people & this book is so dry & funny you will not want to put it down. My favourite book of 2006, I really think everyone will love it.

A really enjoyable, deeply funny & moving book. Do read it. I thought it was much better than the author's famous 'Curious Incident...' & I enjoyed that too.
