Having obtained a modicum of revenge against the three male losers they were in respective relationships (see GETTING EVEN) with, the three friends (Lashelle, Claudia, and Annalise) and the latter's sister Samera each wonders now what. The exception is Annelise, who is enjoying great sex with a caring partner Dominic so different to her ex-spouse Charles. However, Annelise notices how depressed her two buddies and her sibling are though she thinks the latter is because she left behind her beloved Miguel in Costa Rica. She decides to treat the trio with a trip to Sin City for them to find sex partners to indulge in their whims; she will pay for the trip to Vegas from the money she is making from the sale of her house (tough break for Charles).

In Vegas, Lashelle finds several hunks to her liking; Claudia is ready to put away her gadget for real time with a younger hunk, who makes her feel good about being her which is so different than her former fianc Adam; and Samera has nasty Pierre, but pines for Miguel. However, when they return to Atlanta, someone stalks them, threatening each of the four females; wondering if one of their former men has concocted a plan of vengeance.

The sequel is a fine contemporary character study that showcases four females trying to continue their recovery from broken relationships. The storyline rotates perspective with each of the fearsome foursome coming across as genuine and unique as their needs vary. Though the suspense comes late and seems a bit off-kilter for this erotic Hot-Atlantans As they seek their groove, Kayla Perrin's fans will appreciate getting more escapades from this likable group.
