An unlikely couple is Hollywood superstar Marin Alexander and renowned televangelist Warner Brice although both are firm believers in God. Yet when they meet they fall in love. They marry, but being the preacher's wife devastates Marin's film career as parts she had before she said I do are no longer offered to her.

Marin also misses her friends as she finds life away from Hollywood boring. Hoping to salvage her career, she returns to Southern California and her old friends. This puts her at odds with Warner's vocation and threatens his ministry. His advisors tell him to give up on his sinner of a spouse though not by divorce, while her pals tell her to drop the religious albatross that hinders her Hollywood career.

The Hollywood-preacher marriage makes for an interesting look at relationships as the lead couple shares love and strong beliefs in the Lord yet their marriage is in jeopardy as those powerful elements may prove insufficient. Though the Hollywood crowd seems hyperbolically hedonistic with drugs and sex, especially when compared to Brice's pious followers, fans will enjoy the fall of an interesting person whose hope lies in REDEMPTION by returning to the Lord.
