Dorothy Koomson, Goodnight, Beautiful

Absolutely love DK books. It is excellent read and will keep you gripped til the very end. It can seem a bit convoluted but its well worth reading to the end.

I wont tell you the plot as I would hate to spoil it for you. I have read DK's books as ebooks and real books, I have to say I would prefer the real thing

Goodnight Beautiful by Dorothy Koomson is the second best book i have ever read (first is My best friends girl - Dorothy Koomson)

It embarassed me a lot as when the tragic thing (i wont ruin it) happened, i took the book away from my face, looked up at my mum & brother and burst into tears. leaving me feeling like a fool! Afterwards, i relised that i had been crying over the same thing for about an hour and my eyes were red raw from the tissue being rubbed against them! It is an amazing book and as i said in the good points section, the author goes back into the past and explains the close relationship between Mal and Nova and the reason why they stopped talking, which makes the rest of the story evan more emotional. I ended up falling in love with Mal as evan though he wasn't innocent and he did some bad things, i felt so sorry for him. He didn't get a chance to live his life as he should have if things had just gone right. I started off hating Stephanie in the start of the book but as it went on, i realised i actually felt very sorry for her too.

I felt very sad when i reached the last chapter, i really didn't want it to end! It is a beautiful book (hense the title), it made me laugh and cry. The storyline focuses alot on the history of mal and nova which makes the rest of the story evan more emotional. It made my mascara run from crying so much.

Overall an amazing book, i would recommend it to anybody!
