In Pittsburgh, Libby Cartwright learns she inherited "Barb's Knits" in Cleveland from her late mother, who abandoned her when she was a baby. She has no plans to reopen the store; instead encouraged by her forty-year-old husband and her teenage daughter Meghan she just wants to sell it and forget the last thread tying her to her mother.
However, Libby becomes outraged when she learns her spouse plans to divorce her to marry his pregnant girlfriend. Over the objection of her daughter, Libby divorces her cheating husband and moves to the loft over the knit shop. Deciding to make a go at it, she reopens Barb's Knits as Metropolitan Knits while feeling an attraction to customer Hal O'Connell.
KNIT TWO TOGETHER is an interesting family drama that focuses on Libby who must face her heritage and her future at the same time due to the actions of the two people she believes betrayed her (her late mom and her cheating spouse). Libby's change of heart makes for a fascinating second chance at love when she decides to leave Pennsylvania for Ohio to get away from her husband. Though her lifestyle changes seem to knit together too easily, readers will enjoy her efforts to start over and forgive those who left her.
