Arthur Holden, Memoirs of a Geisha

I did not know what to expect of this book as no-one I know has read it. I was pleasantly surprised, and now feel as though I want to read memoirs of a Geisha all over again. I do think that this book is written for romantics, and although I think that a lot of the book would be suitable for most, the ending may leave the non romantic out there feeling short changed.

It is however, a very interesting read, and you do connect with the characters, even the least likable!

Wow! Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Holden really is a great book! It describes the life of a Geisha and her surroundings with great delicacy, without ever becoming sensationalist or vulgar. You just won't be able to put this book down!
