Each begins to overcome their detrimental makeup when they meet one another and form a support group. Readers who appreciate this well written tale that at times is difficult to read because realism is often not pretty. Angie Daniels takes the audience inside the heart of low esteem people who bond because troubled souls love miserable self-loathing company; yet finding one another brings self searching and the first flicker of optimism.
