I Was Actually Given This Book As A Gift To Coinci

I was actually given this book as a gift to coincide with a trip tp Italy, but there's certainly no need to be in Florence to enjoy this book. Especially as it's essentially all about ones imagination nevermind I'd finished it before I'd left!. The history behind the book is almost as fascinationg as the book itself.

A young man wandered the streets of Florence alone and of a whim started to take photo's of the different doorbells/plates he found. From this he uploaded them to Flickr and jotted down a thought about who may own such a doorbell. Who would answer if you rang the bell... It's a collection of short stories picking out small pieces of human characteristics. SOme make you cry but and some will certainly make you laugh!

It's an easy read that stimulates your imagination. It makes you wish you were the person to come up with such a simple yet elegant idea. If there were a criticism it would have to be it'ss just too darn short. A beautiful gift to someone or yourself!
